About us

Moving to a new city is easier with a full plate and people around the table.

Our story

Hungry Expats started in Paris with a simple idea: the fastest way to feel at home somewhere new is to share a meal. What began as a few dinners between friends became a community of food lovers from all over the world.

What we do

Restaurant nights, home-cooked dinners, brunches, food walks and cooking workshops — every week, somewhere in Paris.

Our values

Open tables. Everyone is welcome, whatever their background.
Curiosity. Every cuisine has a story worth tasting.
Respect. For hosts, guests, and the people who cook for us.

The founder

Hungry Expats was founded by Malik, a Paris-based expat who also runs Paris Expats Jam. He believes good food and good music are the best ways to bring people together.
